Home Energy Audits
Energy audits are a tool to analyze how our clients use energy in their home or business. It is a simple process where a GEM Energy consultant visits your property to install one or more smart meters to collect usage data. Over the next few weeks, we will then analyze the data which enables us to point out inefficiencies and propose what energy saving tools to implement.
This may include an upgrade to LED lighting or the installation of a Solar or Heat Pump Hot Water System. GEM Energy will also be able to recommend the most suitable size and type of solar system for your situation.
You may benefit most from a hybrid solar system with a battery bank which enables you to ‘Peak Shave,’ which means using electricity from your battery storage to power your home during peak times when electricity is the most expensive to buy.
