As part of our 6MW partnership with Catholic Education Diocese of Rockhampton, an 810kW single-axis tracking ground mount system at Shalom College was installed, along with 1.16MWh of Tesla battery storage and a full LED lighting upgrade.
The installation is one of the biggest installations for a school in all of Australia and it’s a testament to the technical competency of the GEM Energy team.
Being so close to the school itself, the system provides a great example to the kids that renewable energy is a viable, modern and clean energy source.
