Starting July 1, 2025, the Australian Government is launching the Cheaper Home Batteries Program, a $2.3 billion initiative designed to make home battery storage more affordable.
This rebate offers up to $372 per kilowatt-hour (kWh) of usable battery capacity – minus administrative fees and charges, potentially reducing installation costs by approximately 30%.
